About SHINE Children and Youth Services

SHINE Children and Youth Services is a registered charity and a member of National Council of Social Service. We have been serving children and youth in Singapore since 1976 and remain committed to enabling them to maximise their potential. SHINE serves over 6,000 students, aged 5-21 years old, each year. We aim to develop students’ competencies, confidence and character; facilitate meaningful connections with their families and society; nurture a sense of compassion and care; and guide them to steer clear of crimes, while keeping them positively engaged in school. The work we do helps to build young lives, enhances their resilience and offers hope for their future. The children and youths that we serve are connected with us through schools, police, hospital, community, parents or peers. Our work with them is made possible with the support of funders and donors. With our IPC Status, donors can enjoy 2.5 times tax deduction for their donations.
